Learn to Build Great Websites
Over the years the web has advanced tremendously, many new technologies have been developed and carefully expanded to make the web as beautiful as it is today.
However we must understand that most websites at there core still are made up of two web languages:
- HTML/XHTML and
- CSS
What they are? and how do we make websites using them is what this course is all about.

Course Requirements
There aren't any special course requirements or any prior experience required though you must have a willingness to learn and two hours to spare each day.
No prior experience with any programming language is required. I start from the basics for each topic. You may need to download a free software or two, where to get them is covered in the course itself, you may take a peek here.
Why is the Course Free?
I have been in the field of web designing and programming for a pretty long time. Over the years it happened many times that I was stuck in a problem when I needed to learn something new and it was not covered in books, something which I was not able to find even on the internet. To get out of a problem like this a colleague or friend helped me out.
So besides my education, much of my success goes to the credit of people who gave me some of there time and made me who I am today.
I believe that every little bit counts. Here is my bit for everybody.
Who knows, you may have an idea for a great website and this course can help you to materialize your vision.
Where is the course?
It is on the left hand side, I placed the entire course there so that you may have ease in navigating through it.
When you click on a Chapter Link it will lead you to it and you will see the topics covered in that particular chapter.
I recommend that you move in order.
Something New and Different
The Course is fast paced and is designed in such a way that you get to cover the course in the least possible time, whereas also covering all the concepts.
The information is organized in a very logical manner so that you really retain what you learn.
You will find many sample codes in the website itself and others which you may download. Sample codes would look like this:
<html>
</html>
The code is there to give you practical examples and also to save you time by avoiding typing, although I strongly recommend that you type too.
You may simply select and copy and paste the code, from such boxes wherever you see them on the website.
Scroll to the top left corner under the heading of The Course and let's begin.
